Infogueres Otra forma de vivirlo, y de contarlo
Tal y como ha podido saber Infogueres a través del Diario información, Foguerer Carolinas dejará de plantar en Categoría Especial de fogueres. Tres años consecutivos han conseguido mantenerse en lo más alto, siempre con Hermanos Gómez Fonseca, en los cuales lograron el primer premio de Especial en su estreno en la categoría.
Las obligaciones económicas que supone plantar en la máxima categoría han obligado a la comisión a tomar la decisión de bajar a Primera. El objetivo es no tener que recortar de otras partidas por mantenerse arriba y que, así, no se vea mermada la fiesta ofrecida al barrio en materia de música, pirotecnia o alumbrado. No por ello dejaran de ir a por todas en la competición, ya que cuentan con el artista Pere Baenas que es un seguro de buen resultado, y la Primera Categoría está muy competida los últimos años.
«No es un hasta nunca, sino hasta dentro de poco», asegura David Olivares, presidente de la comisión, «es un paso atrás para tomar impulso, porque queremos volver a Especial en el futuro con el monumento más caro de la historia«. Esta ha sido la decisión tomada por la nueva directiva recién ratificada por la comisión, que sí que mantendrá la foguera infantil en Categoría Especial, fichando para ello a Bernardo Estela, que viene de ganar un 2º premio en esa misma categoría con Sant Blai-La Torreta.
Hasta la fecha Foguerer Carolinas parece ser la única baja de la máxima categoría con respecto al pasado año, en favor de una Primera Categoría que continua poblándose con varios retornos y muchos cambios en lo que a artistas se refiere.
